Attorney David Ellison is the Founding Attorney of Ellison Law LLC. Attorney Ellison created the firm because he believes that when you are going through the legal system, it is important to have a lawyer who treats you with compassion, respect, and dignity. He believes that your criminal defense lawyer should be honest, strategic and provide a high-quality legal service. This stems from his belief that his clients are people who deserve to have their day in court. His top priority is protecting his client’s rights, and he takes pride in fighting for his clients and treating his clients as human beings rather than another number in the system.

Attorney Angelica Bovis is an experienced criminal defense attorney whose practice centers on strong advocacy, strategy, and unwavering commitment to her clients. She earned her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law and her Bachelor’s Degree from Roger Williams University in an accelerated academic program. During law school, Attorney Bovis discovered a passion for courtroom advocacy and criminal defense, which continues to shape her practice today.

Attorney Bovis represents clients in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, guiding them through every stage of the criminal process with precision and determination.

Laurie Ellison

Operations Manager

Laurie Ellison is the Operations Manager for Ellison Law LLC. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining Ellison Law, she worked as an Internal Audit Manager for the State of Rhode Island and was a Senior Associate at a local public accounting firm in Providence, Rhode Island.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to that, she obtained an Associate Degree from the Community College of Rhode Island.

Hector Botero is an Operations Assistant for Ellison Law LLC. He has a passion for working with and helping people. He is one of the first points of contact for all our new and existing clients. Hector ensures each person receives exceptional customer service.
