Dismissed – Assault and Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Interfering with a Police Officer and Trespassing

February, 2019

Our client was charged for a fight that happened at a restaurant. He was trying to break up the fight but ended up getting charged as well. We set the case down for trial to make the Government prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt the charges that were brought against him. On the day of trial, the Government had some witnesses available and other were not. After speaking with the prosecutor, we were able to convince them to agree to drop the charges against our client. Therefore, the charges of Assault and Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Interfering with a Police Officer and Trespassing were all dismissed.
