Not Guilty – Felony Uttering a Counterfeit Note

January, 2018

Outcome: Not Guilty

Description: Client was charged with uttering a counterfeit note, a felony. Client was alleged to have used a “fake” $100 bill at a store. My client was adamant he did not know it was fake and had no intention to pass it as a fake. We took the case to trial. After trial, client was found not guilty and acquitted of the charges.
