Motion to Seal Allowed – Rhode Island | Ellison Law LLCOur client was charged with Massaging Without a License which is a criminal charge in Rhode Island. A conviction for Massaging Without a License could result in a potential criminal conviction as well as civil or disciplinary remedies.
After reviewing documents and having discussions with the prosecutor our client’s case was scheduled for trial. Prior to the start of the trial the judge offered a not guilty – filing, over the objection of the prosecutor.
Our client decided to accept this disposition. Our client did not have to admit to any wrongdoing, and the complaint will be expunged at the end of her filing once they have completed it.
