Obedience to Police Officer Dismissed Rhode Island

Our client was charged with Obedience to a Police Officer in Rhode Island – this is a traffic ticket violation. RIGL § 31-12-3 Obedience to a Police Officer states someone can be charged with obedience to a police officer when they do not listen to direction provided by the police officer while driving a motor vehicle. Our office performed an investigation into the incident, after discussion with the police officer and the judge we were able to negotiate a dismissal of the charge.
