Dismissed – Assault and Battery on a Family/Household Member and Larceny Under $1,200

Our client was charged with Assault and Battery on a Family/Household Member and Larceny Under $1,200 in Massachusetts. He was facing the possibility of going to jail for up to 2.5 years. When we got the case, we were able to do our own investigation into the allegations. We discovered information about the alleged victim, which we were able to use in our defense.

We decided to select a trial date on the matter. On the day of trial, there was insufficient evidence to proceed with trial. We asked that both charges be dismissed. The judge granted our motion and dismissed both cases.
