Felony Vandalism Dismissed in Massachusetts

Our client was charged with Vandalism in Massachusetts. Vandalism is a property crime that is a felony in Massachusetts. The potential penalties for Vandalism in Massachusetts are the following: up to 3 years in State Prison, up to 2 years in the house of correction, a fine of not more than $1,500 or not more than three times the value of the vandalized property, payment for the removal or obliteration of such vandalized property and a potential felony criminal conviction.

We performed our own internal investigation into the charges and found our client had an alibi revealing some identification issues. On the day of trial the judge agreed to dismiss the charge against our client.
