Our client received a summons for Speeding in Massachusetts. They appealed the speeding ticket and were granted a Magistrate’s hearing. A Magistrate’s hearing is a proceeding used to determine if certain civil and criminal violations have enough evidence to be issued.
At the hearing, we presented our arguments and the Magistrate agreed to keep it open with the understanding that the matter would be revisited at a later date. The agreement included a mutual understanding that our client was expected to not receive any new violations/charges.
At the next hearing date, our client was found Not Responsible for the Speeding charge.
